2019 All-Ireland Under-20 Football Championship
The second year of the Under-20 format continued Gaelic football for players aged between minor and senior. The championship ran from 22 June to 3 August 2019, with 31 teams competing in 30 matches.
Kildare were the defending champions, but they were defeated by Laois in the Leinster Championship.
The All-Ireland final was played on 3 August 2019 at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, between Cork and Dublin. Cork won 3-16 to 1-14 to claim their 12th title and their first since 2009. It was Cork's first final meeting with Dublin in 39 years. Cork were captained by Peter O'Driscoll and managed by Keith Ricken; Dublin were captained by James Doran and managed by Tom Gray.
Cork's Ciarán Archer was the competition's top scorer, finishing with 9 goals and 35 points, and was named Player of the Year.
