Xylokastro railway station is in the seaside town of Xylokastro in Corinthia, Greece. It opened on 22 June 2020 as part of a big upgrade to extend the Athens Airport–Patras railway to Aigio, funded by ERGOSE and the European Union. The station is owned by GAIAOSE and operated by Hellenic Train. It is a raised station near the Olimpia Odos motorway and can be reached by stairs or a ramp. The facilities include a booking office, toilets, shelters, and a large on-site car park. Local trains between Kiato and Aigio stop here. There is no local bus stop connected to the station. Do not confuse this station with the old Piraeus–Patras railway station, which is located northeast near the Corinthian Gulf coast. The station was planned to become the terminus of the Athens Suburban Railway after electrification. In August 2020, a train derailed near Xylokastro, but there were no injuries.
