Kent Street is a street in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was originally named Soldiers Back Row and was renamed after the Duke of Kent. The street is about 2.2 kilometers long (1.4 miles) and runs north-south from Liverpool Street in the Sydney central business district to Windmill Street in Millers Point.

It connects with several streets along its route, including Liverpool Street at the southern end and Windmill Street at the northern end; major junctions along the way are Druitt Street, Bathurst Street, Market Street, King Street, Erskine Street, Margaret Street and Argyle Street.

It was originally two-way, but on 27 July 1980 the section from Liverpool Street to Erskine Street was made one-way northbound when the Western Distributor opened.
