Win Naing Tun
Win Naing Tun (Burmese: ဝင်းနိုင်ထွန်း; born 3 May 2000) is a Burmese professional football forward who plays for Yangon City FC and the Myanmar national team. He was born in Depayin, Sagaing Region, and trained at the Myanmar Football Academy. His senior career began with Yadanarbon (2017–2019), followed by Ayeyawady United (2020), Yangon United (2021–2023), then a move abroad to Indonesia with Borneo Samarinda (2023–2024) and later Chiangrai United (2024–). Internationally, he has represented Myanmar at U18, U20, and U23 levels and made his senior national team debut in 2021. He has earned 35 caps and scored 5 goals for Myanmar as of December 2024.
Highlights include his pro debut on 15 January 2018 for Yadanarbon in a 5–2 win over Ayeyawady United, his first goal on 10 June 2018 against Shan United, and being named the Thanh Niên Newspaper International U‑21 best player in 2018. He won the Myanmar National League Player of the Month award in January 2019. In 2023 he became the first Myanmar player to join an Indonesian club when he signed for Borneo Samarinda, making his league debut on 3 July 2023. He scored his first international goal on 14 June 2022 against Singapore in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, and in 2024 he scored twice to help Myanmar beat Laos 3–2 in the AFF Championship group stage.
