William McCall (May 19, 1870 – January 10, 1938) was an American film actor. Born in Delavan, Illinois, he started on stage before moving to films with Vitagraph. Early in his film career he was credited as Billy McCall and mostly played comic roles in farces, including Huns and Hyphens (1918) and Frauds and Frenzies (1918). Later he used the name William McCall and acted in serials and Westerns. He appeared in more than 190 films between 1918 and 1938 and continued acting into the era of sound, ending his career in 1937. He died in Hollywood, California, at age 67.
