WPLR is a radio station at 99.1 FM in New Haven, Connecticut, known as "99.1 PLR." It plays mainstream rock, with songs from the 1970s through the early 2000s, and is owned by Connoisseur Media.

The station first went on the air in 1948 as WNHC-FM and became a pioneer of the album-oriented rock (AOR) format in the 1970s, a direction it has maintained over the years.

WPLR’s studios are on Wheelers Farms Road in Milford, with transmitter facilities on Mad Mare Mountain in Hamden. The station has previously operated from Dixwell Avenue in Hamden and Chapel Street in New Haven.

HD2 and subchannels: In September 2017, WPLR launched an HD2 subchannel called "Mod 102.3," carried by translator W272DO. The translator was sold in January 2018 and stopped Mod, briefly carrying Bomba from WMRQ-FM HD2. By November 2019, WPLR-HD2 stopped Mod and began simulcasting WICC (600 AM) from Bridgeport.
