Nadimul Haque
Nadimul Haque (born 20 September 1969) is an Indian politician, journalist and writer. He is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, representing the Trinamool Congress from West Bengal. He has been in the Rajya Sabha since May 2012.
He studied at Saifee Golden Jubilee English Public School in Kolkata and earned a BA with honors in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta University. He has worked as a journalist and businessman.
In Parliament, he has served on Rajya Sabha committees related to Railways (2009–2012) and Passenger Services (2010–2012). Since May 2012, he has been a member of the Parliament’s Committee on Urban Development. He has also been involved with various West Bengal government bodies, including the Press Accreditation Committee, the West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation, the Urdu Academy, the Mohammedan Burial Board, the Kolkata Police Citizens Committee, and Nazrul Academy.
