The Visual Effects Society Award for Outstanding Compositing & Lighting in an Episode is a yearly award from the Visual Effects Society. It began in 2003 and honors visual effects artists for their work in compositing on photoreal episodes. The category has changed over the years: from 2003 to 2012 it also included commercials, and in 2013 it was focused on nominating television programs.
