Myrmecocystus wheeleri
Myrmecocystus wheeleri is a species of honeypot ant. It lives in California, Baja California, and Coahuila. It belongs to the ant family Formicidae, subfamily Formicinae, and is an insect in the order Hymenoptera. The binomial name is Myrmecocystus wheeleri, described by Snelling in 1971.
