Virginia State Route 132
State Route 132 (SR 132) is a short, primary highway in Virginia, about 4.09 miles long. For most of its length it’s known as Henry Street and it runs north–south through the independent city of Williamsburg, from SR 199 in the south to SR 143 in York County near Williamsburg. It serves as the main north–south road through Williamsburg and, via SR 143, is the main way to reach Colonial Williamsburg, the College of William & Mary, and Colonial Parkway from I-64.
SR 132 begins at SR 199 (Humelsine Parkway) on the city’s southern edge and heads north as a two-lane road. It crosses Paper Mill Creek, passes near the William & Mary School of Law and the National Center for State Courts, and then meets SR 5 (Francis Street). The two highways run together north through the Colonial Williamsburg area and near the College of William & Mary, including a junction near Duke of Gloucester Street, the pedestrian main street of Colonial Williamsburg.
North of downtown, SR 132 intersects Lafayette Street near the Williamsburg Transportation Center. After crossing a CSX rail line, Henry Street branches off and SR 132 continues northeast through a wooded area. It then intersects SR 132Y, a short spur (0.29 miles) connecting to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitors Center and Colonial Parkway. SR 132Y becomes a four-lane divided road briefly, then SR 132 enters York County and intersects US 60 (Bypass Road) before returning to a two-lane road. The route crosses Queen Creek and ends at SR 143 (Merrimac Trail), which provides access to I-64.
