Vehicle registration plates in Tuvalu

Tuvalu requires residents to register their motor vehicles and display license plates. The current plates use the Australian standard size of 372 mm by 134 mm (14.6 in by 5.3 in) and are white on black for both front and rear. The typical serial format is AB1234. It is the owner's responsibility to obtain the license plate for their vehicle.
