Pielenhofen is a small municipality in the Regensburg district of Bavaria, Germany. It lies on the Naab River. The town is best known for Pielenhofen Abbey, which used to be a Cistercian nunnery and is now a house and school of the Visitandines. The area covers 13.25 square kilometers and has about 1,657 residents (as of December 31, 2023). Elevation ranges from 335 to 463 meters above sea level.
