Varlilumab, also called CDX-1127, is a human monoclonal antibody designed to treat cancer. It targets CD27 on immune cells to help activate T cells and boost their ability to attack tumors. It was developed by Celldex Therapeutics. In early clinical studies, it has been tested with ONT-10 for advanced breast or ovarian cancer (phase 1B) and with nivolumab (an anti-PD-1 drug) for advanced refractory solid tumors (phase 1/2). It is still investigational and not yet approved for general use.
