Sin dejar rastros (Without a Trace) is a 1918 Argentine animated feature film directed and written by Quirino Cristiani. It used cutout animation and was a silent film with Spanish intertitles. The story centers on the German commander Baron von Luxburg, who sinks an Argentine ship hoping to frame the Entente; survivors’ accounts help reveal the truth. The film was not as successful as Cristiani’s 1917 film El Apóstol and was confiscated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by order of President Hipólito Yrigoyen. It is unknown if any copies still exist, and the film is considered lost.
