Uuhai is a Mongolian folk metal band formed in 2020 in Ulaanbaatar. They mix traditional Mongolian music with heavy metal. The group was started by Otgonbaatar Damba, who also plays in the metal band Hurd. The name Uuhai means "Hoorah" and reflects deep cultural traditions; shouting "uuhai" together is a spiritual mantra believed to bring energy, courage, and good fortune.

In 2022, Uuhai released their first music videos for "Khun Sureg," "Ser Ser," and the self-titled song "Uuhai," which features Hurd. In 2023, the band toured Europe for the first time, beginning with a concert in Paris in June.

On 6 November 2025, Uuhai announced they had signed with Napalm Records and released their debut studio album, Human Herds, along with the lead single "Uuhai." The second single, "Khar Khulz," followed on 4 December, and the third single, "Secret History of the Mongols," was released on 6 January.
