Usimamane
Omuhleumnguni Simamane, born 10 October 2003, is a South African rapper and songwriter from Umlazi, Durban. He rose to fame with his breakthrough single "Cheque" in 2024, which went 3× Platinum in South Africa. In June 2024, Apple Music named him Rap Life Africa. His debut studio album, 20th: Days Before Maud, was released on 13 September 2024 and set a record for the biggest second-day streams on Spotify in South Africa, with over 332,000. The song "Uvalo" with Sjava debuted at number 4 and moved to number 1 a week later on the Local Streaming Top 10 charts.
