Pechea

Pechea is a commune in Galați County, in Western Moldavia, Romania. It is made up of two villages: Pechea and Lupele. The area is located in eastern Romania, at about 45.633°N latitude and 27.800°E longitude. The population is around 10,200 people (as of December 2021). The commune follows Eastern European Time (UTC+2) and daylight saving time (UTC+3 in summer). Vehicle registration plates for the area start with GL.
