Upon the Wings of Music
Upon the Wings of Music is a studio album by French jazz fusion violinist Jean-Luc Ponty. It was released on May 25, 1975, and recorded in January 1975 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California. The album runs 36 minutes and 38 seconds and was released by Atlantic Records. Ponty produced the album and wrote all the songs. It sits in Ponty's discography after Open Strings (1971) and before Aurora (1976), and it was his first Atlantic release.
