Cedrick Wilson Jr. is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. He was born on November 20, 1995, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 197 pounds. He went to White Station High School in Memphis, where he even started at quarterback as a junior. He played college football at Coffeyville Community College and then Boise State, where he had a standout 2017 season, earning first-team All-Mountain West and Las Vegas Bowl MVP.

Wilson was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft (208th overall). After a shoulder injury, he spent time on injured reserve and the practice squad in 2018 and 2019. He became a regular contributor as a receiver and returner. In 2020, he played all 16 games, posting 17 receptions for 189 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a 107-yard receiving game in Week 3. He also threw a 11-yard touchdown pass on a trick play in Week 5. In 2021, he became more involved as a deep threat, finishing with 45 receptions, 602 yards and 6 touchdowns. He had notable performances, including a 73-yard TD in Week 8 and a 119-yard, 2-TD game in Week 18. He signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys in 2021.

In 2022, Wilson signed with the Miami Dolphins on a three-year, $22.8 million deal. He played in 15 games with 12 receptions for 136 yards and contributed as a punt returner. In 2023, his role diminished, with 22 receptions for 296 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he lost his punt return duties.

Wilson signed with the New Orleans Saints in March 2024 on a two-year contract. He played 15 games (4 starts) with 20 receptions for 211 yards and 1 touchdown. He had some memorable plays, including catching a touchdown pass from Jake Haener and throwing a 21-yard TD pass to Alvin Kamara on a trick play.

In August 2025, Wilson was released by the Saints and moved to their practice squad, then waived. He rejoined the Saints’ practice squad before being signed by the Dolphins off the Saints’ practice squad in October 2025. His father, Cedrick Wilson Sr., also played in the NFL for seven years with the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers.
