Flying Foam Passage
Flying Foam Passage is a north–south waterway between Angel Island and Dolphin Island in the Dampier Archipelago, near Dampier in Western Australia. It is named after the 33-ton coastal schooner Flying Foam, which disappeared in March 1872. The name is also linked to an 1868 massacre of Indigenous Australians in the area. The passage is a known site where ships have been lost. Coordinates: 20°28′S 116°50′E (about -20.467, 116.833).
