Tripelta is an extinct genus of bony fish from the Middle Triassic. Its fossils come from what is now New South Wales, Australia, in the Sydney sandstone. The only known species is Tripelta dubia. It was first described as Peltopleurus dubius by Arthur Smith Woodward in 1890, and later placed in its own genus, Tripelta, by Robert Wade in 1939. Tripelta belongs to the Perleidiformes, a group of early ray-finned fishes.
