Bledar Sejko
Bledar Sejko (born February 19, 1971 in Tirana, Albania) is an Albanian guitarist, singer and composer. He represented Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with the song "Identitet," performed with Adrian Lulgjuraj. The song blends influences from Northern Albania and Chameria. Sejko also took part in Eurovision 2011, performing with Aurela Gaçe in "Feel the Passion."
In the late 1980s, Sejko was part of one of Albania’s first pop groups, created in secret because pop music was banned by the communist regime. His nickname is Qepa (Onion). He taught guitar to Redon Makashi and became known as one of Albania’s great guitarists. He founded Megahertz, the first rock band in Albania. Before 2013, his last Festivali i Këngës appearance was in 1992 with his group Thunder Way; their song "Legjenda e Heroit" finished last.
