Steve Cooke (born 31 October 1968 in Sheffield, England) is an English football coach. He is the head coach of Atlanta United 2 in MLS Next Pro. He holds UEFA A Licence and USSF Pro License.

Cooke began coaching at Sheffield Wednesday’s academy in the early 1990s. In 1996 he moved to the United States, working as assistant director of coaching for Sereno SC and later for SC Del Sol. He was technical director at Neusport FC in Las Vegas from 2007 to 2010.

He joined the Colorado Rapids in 2010 as academy director, then served as an assistant coach from 2012 to 2017, including a spell as interim head coach in 2017. In December 2017 he became head coach and technical director of OKC Energy FC (2017–2019). He then moved to Phoenix Rising FC as director of soccer (2019–2021).

In 2021 he joined Seattle Sounders FC as U-17 head coach and later academy director. Under his leadership, the Sounders U-17s won the Generation Adidas Cup in 2022 and the club won the MLS Next West division; Seattle also won the CONCACAF Champions League in 2022.

Cooke studied physical education at Carnegie College in Sheffield and earned his coaching licenses before starting his professional career. In February 2023 he was named head coach of Atlanta United 2.
