Toumakoku
Toumakoku, also called Toumakoku or Tsumakoku, is said to have existed in ancient Japan during the 3rd century. It appears in old Chinese records about Wa (Japan) called the Wajinden, and its ruler is described with the title Mimi. The Records of the Three Kingdoms places Toumakoku about 20 days by sea south of Fumi (present-day Umi, Kasuya District) or Sueranokuni (Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture). It may have been a leading power within Wakoku (ancient Japan).
