Tithorea (mythology)
Tithorea (Ancient Greek: Τιθορέα) is a figure from Greek mythology. She was a Phocian nymph who lived on Mount Parnassus. The town of Tithorea in Phocis was said to be named after her (it was once called Neon). She may have been a dryad, a tree spirit.
