Dunaferr SE (men's handball)
Dunaferr Sportegyesület was a Hungarian men’s handball club from Dunaújváros. Founded in 1951, the team played at the Dunaferr Sportcsarnok, which seats about 1,200 people. The club was led by president Tamás Csapó and head coach László György.
The early 2000s were the club’s best years. Dunaferr won the Hungarian Championship in 2000 and the Hungarian Cup in 2001. They also reached European finals, finishing as runners-up in the EHF Cup Winners’ Cup in 2000 and making the semi-finals of the EHF Cup in 2003.
In 2011, due to sponsorship, the club was briefly named Dunaferr Alexandra. The men’s handball division was closed on 1 July 2011. In the 2010–11 season they finished 12th in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I and were relegated.
