Thorley Manor is a manor house near Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, England. Built in 1712, it has a decorative modillion cornice, a hipped roof, and tall chimneys. Over the centuries its ownership passed through many hands, including Richard de Redvers, the Montacutes, Edward, Duke of York, George, Duke of Clarence, and finally David Urry, with the Crown receiving a yearly rent of £30 17s 5d. It later passed by marriage to the Lucy family and then to the Holmes family. Much of the estate used to be a rabbit warren, with Isabella de Fortibus granting one fifth of the conies. The warrener Walter White is noted from Edward III’s time.
