Enhydra macrodonta
Enhydra macrodonta, the large-toothed sea otter, is an extinct relative of the modern sea otter. It lived in California during the middle Pleistocene and had larger, stronger teeth than today’s sea otter. Fossils are dated to about 700,000 to 500,000 years ago.
