Jolibrotica
Jolibrotica is a small group of leaf beetles found in Taiwan. It is part of the animal kingdom, arthropods, insects, and beetles. Specifically, Jolibrotica belongs to the family Chrysomelidae, subfamily Galerucinae, and tribe Luperini (subtribe Luperina).
The genus Jolibrotica was created in 2015 by Chi-Feng Lee and Jan Bezděk for species that were once thought to belong to Phyllobrotica. The name honors French entomologist Pierre Jolivet (1922–2020), who specialized in leaf beetles.
So far, Jolibrotica species have only been found in Taiwan (as of 2025).
