Tiruchirappalli West taluk
Tiruchirappalli West Taluk is an administrative area in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamil Nadu. It was created in 2013 when the original Tiruchirappalli taluk was split into East and West. West Taluk includes wards 39–42 and 44–60. In 2011, the Tiruchirappalli taluk (before the split) covered 41.63 square kilometers and had a population of 326,421 with a literacy rate of 82.77%.
