Thomas J. Sands

Thomas Jahn Sands (August 2, 1907 – November 5, 1984) was an American fencer and United States Army officer. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he competed in the team épée event at the 1936 Summer Olympics. He had a long Army career and achieved the rank of major general. Sands died in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, and is buried at West Point Cemetery in West Point, New York.
