Sri Simhachala Kshetra Mahima is a 1965 Telugu mythological film directed by B. V. Prasad in his debut. The story is by B. V. Prasad with dialogues by Rajasri. The cast includes Kantha Rao, Krishna Kumari, V. Nagayya, Relangi, Girija, Rajanala, Chalam, and G. Ramakrishna. Music was composed by T. V. Raju. The film is based on legends of the Sri Varaha Narasimha Kshetram of Simhachalam in Andhra Pradesh. The story shows Lord Vishnu in his Narasimha form killing Hiranyakashipu, Prahlada’s plea for calm, and Vishnu granting blessings while revealing his Varaha Narasimha form to bless devotees on the hill. The film features 12 songs and padyams.
