Theo Evan
Theo Evan, born Evangelos Theodorou on May 16, 2000, in Nicosia, Cyprus, is a Greek Cypriot singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. He has performed since age seven and started writing songs as a teen. He studied at The English School in Nicosia and later earned honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He released his debut single “The Wall” in 2021 and has appeared in theatre and on TV, including as an extra in Euphoria. In September 2024, Cyprus chose him to represent the country at Eurovision 2025 in Basel with the song “Shh.” It was the first time since 2017 that Cyprus was represented by a Cypriot-born artist. In the semifinal on May 13, 2025, he finished 11th with 44 points and did not reach the final. His music blends Mediterranean pop with contemporary styles, drawing inspiration from artists like Stromae and Michael Jackson and incorporating reggaeton influences.
