Penicillium brevistipitatum is a fungus in the Penicillium genus. It belongs to the Aspergillaceae family, Eurotiomycetes class, and was described in 2005 by L. Wang and W.-Y. Zhuang. The type strain is AS3.6887, and it was isolated from Jilin Province, China.
