The Third Eye Centre
The Third Eye Centre is Belle and Sebastian’s second compilation album, released on 26 August 2013. It collects B-sides and rarities released after their previous compilation, Push Barman to Open Old Wounds. The album runs about 68 minutes, is in the indie pop genre, and was released by Rough Trade. It features production by Trevor Horn, Belle & Sebastian, Tony Doogan, Tony Hoffer and Darren Allison, with material recorded between 2002 and 2010. In the band's discography, it sits after Write About Love (2010) and before Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance (2015). Some tracks released since Push Barman to Open Old Wounds were not included on this collection.
