Tobolsky Uyezd (Тобольский уезд) was a district of the Tobolsk Governorate in the Russian Empire. It was in the governorate’s central area, and the administrative center was the town of Tobolsk. In the 1897 Russian Empire Census, Tobolsky Uyezd had a population of 127,860. Native languages were: Russian 77.0%, Siberian Tatar 17.6%, Khanty 1.8%, Yiddish 1.0%, Mansi 1.0%, Polish 0.5%, Ukrainian 0.5%, Mordvin 0.1%, German 0.1%, and Adyghe 0.1%.
