Thun District

Thun District is one of 26 districts in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. The capital is Thun. On 1 January 2010, its administrative tasks were moved to the larger Thun administrative district, but Thun remained the capital. The district covers 267 square kilometers and had 92,363 residents in 2007, with a population density of 346 people per square kilometer. It includes 26 municipalities.
