The Mole: Season 6 (American, Netflix 2022) is the show’s first edition on Netflix after a long break. It features 12 contestants competing in Australia (New South Wales and Queensland) to earn money for a group pot, while one secret contestant—the Mole—tries to sabotage the missions. The season was hosted by Alex Wagner and released in 10 episodes from October 7 to October 21, 2022. The location and missions offered a mix of jungle, warehouse, plane, boat, and mountain challenges.

The Mole was Kesi Neblett, who secretly worked to derail tasks and mislead the others. The contestants were tested every few days on their knowledge of the Mole’s identity and actions; the lowest score on the test led to elimination, with ties broken by who finished the test slower. The game continued until three players remained: two genuine contestants and the Mole, who faced a final test about the Mole’s actions throughout the season.

William Richardson emerged as the winner, with Joi Schweitzer finishing as the runner-up. The season concluded with the final quiz weighing heavily in favor of identifying the Mole; if the two remaining contestants disagreed on who the Mole was, the winner was the one who correctly identified the Mole on that final question; otherwise, other questions determined the result.

The final pot total for the season was $101,500. The season’s twists and the Mole’s behavior were later highlighted in post-season notes and clues from Netflix, but the core idea remained the same: the players worked to earn money for the pot while trying to uncover the Mole’s identity before the game ended.
