Malta Temple, also known as the Salvation Army Building, is a historic building at 100 West North Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Central Northside. Built in 1927, it first housed the Order of Malta, a fraternal group, and later became a Salvation Army building. It is a contributing property in the Mexican War Streets Historic District. In 2008, the Pittsburgh Planning Commission voted 5–2 to save the building from demolition, and it was added to the City of Pittsburgh’s historic designation list on August 5, 2008.
