That's How Much I Love You (Eddy Arnold song)
"That's How Much I Love You" is a country song written by Eddy Arnold, J. Graydon Hall, and Wally Fowler, performed by Eddy Arnold and his Tennessee Plowboys. It was released as a single in September 1946 on RCA Victor, with the B-side "Chained To A Memory." The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard folk chart in October 1946 and was No. 10 on the Billboard year-end folk jukebox chart for 1946. The lyrics express the singer's deep love with playful examples: if he had a nickel, he'd spend it on candy for her; if she were a kitten, he'd stroke her and listen to her purr; if she were a horsefly and he were a horse, he'd let her bite him; and if she wanted to marry, he'd find a parson to tie the knot. The song ends with the line, "That's how much I love you."
