Teterville is a ghost town in Greenwood County, Kansas, about 11 miles east of Cassoday. Today there are no buildings left. It started as an oil town after the Teeter Oil Field was discovered around 1920. The field was named for James Teter, who owned about 6,900 acres in the area. A post office operated in Teterville from 1927 until it closed in 1962.
