Andegerebinha dialect
Andegerebinha, also spelled Andegerebenha, Andigibinha, Antekerrepenhe, or Antekerrepinhe, was an Aboriginal language once spoken in Australia’s Northern Territory, around the Hay River and Pituri Creek area east of Alyawarra. It belongs to the Pama–Nyungan language family, in the Arandic branch and the Upper Arrernte group. The language had very few speakers: ten in 1981, five in 2005, and by 2016 there were no fluent speakers, so it is now dormant. Research on its sound system was published by Gavan Breen in 1977 and updated in 2001, with the phonology now considered similar to Central Arrernte.
