Ben Bridge Jeweler
Ben Bridge Jeweler is a luxury jewelry retailer in the United States. It sells engagement rings, diamonds, and watches (including Rolex) and is owned by Berkshire Hathaway.
The company began in 1912 in Seattle when watchmaker Samuel Silverman opened a shop. His son-in-law, Ben Bridge, joined in 1922, later bought the business, and renamed it Ben Bridge Jeweler. Today it operates more than 80 stores across the United States, mainly in the western states. It remains a family-run business and is led by Lisa Bridge, Ben Bridge’s great-granddaughter. Berkshire Hathaway bought the company in 2000.
In 2022, Ben Bridge announced plans for a new flagship store in Downtown Seattle on Pine Street, near Westlake Center. During construction in 2023, an incident damaged the Westlake Station roof and disrupted Link light rail service. The company’s website is benbridge.com.
