North American collegiate sustainability programs

North American colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico increasingly offer majors and minors dedicated to sustainability. These programs span many fields, from business and design to agriculture and science, and are driven by the need to live more sustainably as global warming grows.

Note: Many schools began with related majors or minors and evolved toward dedicated sustainability programs, reflecting the growing variety of ways to study and lead sustainable change.
