Syed Kasran
Syed Kasran is a village and the main town of Union Council Syed Kasran in Gujar Khan Tehsil, Rawalpindi District, Punjab, Pakistan. It has about 10,000 residents. The village was founded by two brothers from Gujrat, Syed Muhammad and Syed Mehmood (son of Zain ul Abideen), who came here at the request of Raja Sarang wal e Rawat (a claim that is not proven). The community is named after the Syed family, and there are mazaars (shrines) of Shah Nazar and Shah Diwan Kazmi. Syed Kasran is also the birthplace of Bari Imam and The Great Khali.
