Svetlana Ivanova
Svetlana Andreyevna Ivanova, born September 26, 1985, in Moscow, is a Russian theater and film actress. She studied at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (GITIS), graduating in 2006 in the acting class of Igor Yasulovich. Her screen debut came in The 9th Company (2005), and she later played the lead in Franz + Polina (2006). Other notable films include August Eighth (2011) and Friends of Friends (2014).
Her role as Polina in Franz + Polina earned several awards, such as the Special Jury Prize at the Baltic Debuts festival, the Golden Sword for Best Actress at the Military Movies festival, and Best Actress prizes at the Kinoshock and Sozvezdie festivals. She also received a Golden Eagle Award in 2017.
Ivanova has a daughter, Polina, born in 2012, with cinematographer Vyacheslav Lisnevskiy; the couple later split. In 2011 she began a relationship with director Dzhanik Fayziyev. In 2018 it was reported that she was pregnant with a second child. She has worked with the Sovremennik Theatre.
