Skeleton – Women at the 2022 Winter Olympics happened in Beijing at the Xiaohaituo Bobsleigh and Luge Track on February 11–12. 25 athletes from 17 countries competed. Hannah Neise of Germany won gold with a total time of 4:07.62. Jaclyn Narracott from Australia took silver, and Kimberley Bos of the Netherlands bronze. It was all three athletes’ first Olympic medals, and Narracott’s and Bos’s medals were the first Olympic skeleton medals for Australia and the Netherlands. Germany also won the men’s skeleton, so they swept all skeleton golds at these Games. This was the first time no British woman won a medal in Olympic women’s skeleton. Qualification allowed 25 spots, up to three athletes per country, based on world rankings as of January 16, 2022.
