Brigadier General Arthur George Preston McNalty, CMG CBE (1871–1958) was a British Army field commander who fought in the Second Boer War and World War I. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in 1901 and served in South Africa during the Boer War, earning the Queen’s South Africa Medal with five battle clasps. While in South Africa he was promoted to lieutenant in 1902. From 1911 to 1914 he served with the British Army of Occupation in Egypt.

In World War I (1914–1919), McNalty served in Egypt, Gallipoli, and France, where he was seriously wounded and earned six combat despatches. He rose to Brigadier General, commanding a brigade of about 3,000 troops. After the war he became Director General of Grave Registrations and Enquiries from 1919 to 1920, retiring in 1920.

He married Margaret Maude de Windt in 1905; they divorced in 1921 and had two children. He died in 1958.
