The Serbian Astronomical Journal is a biannual, peer‑reviewed science journal about astronomy. It is published in English by the Astronomical Observatory Belgrade and the Department of Astronomy, Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade (Serbia). Edited by Dejan Urošević, the journal has appeared under its current name since 1998.

It continues the work of earlier Belgrade astronomy publications. The predecessor was the Bulletin Astronomique de Belgrade (1992–1998), which formed from a merger of the Bulletin de l'Observatoire Astronomique de Belgrade (1936–1991) and the Publications of the Department of Astronomy (1969–1990).

The Serbian Astronomical Journal publishes invited reviews, original research papers, preliminary reports, and professional papers across astronomy, astrophysics, astrobiology, and related fields.

The journal is indexed in major databases such as ADS, Scopus, EBSCO, Chemical Abstracts, and Referativni Zhurnal.
