Sarah Davidson Apartment Block
The Sarah Davidson Apartment Block is a historic building at 3 Gaylord Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1901 and designed by architect A. B. Pinkham in the Classical Revival style, the three-story brick building also features sandstone and copper details. It has three storefronts facing Washington Street separated by sandstone piers, and a residential entrance on Gaylord Street set back under a rounded sandstone arch. The upper floors include protruding brick sections and rounded copper accents, topped by a heavy denticulated copper cornice. It is one of the oldest brick apartment buildings in Codman Square. The block was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 18, 2013 (NRHP reference number 13000928).
